Friday night we’ll be at The Red Eye Fly in Austin and Saturday at The Texan in Corpus Christi.

The first song slatted for release is a mid tempo number about sex, death, evolution, and the receipt for your grandma’s homemade peanut-butter cookies. The song is called “Big Bang,” and features some new flanged singing and hoo humming.

I’ll post more about the process of releasing these songs to everyone, as they’ll be downloadable for free (for a short time), as we enter into next week. For now maybe you could set your radio dials to The Local Edge for the debut of the song tomorrow night.

Oh yeah in other news our picture ended up in the “best concert pics of 2009” or somethin’ on the Observer’s site. We remember that show at the awesome DIY venue, school house, very well. Too bad our hosts from Day Bow Bow.net do not.

Hey everybody we’ll be playing with our friends Mount Righteous. We’ve been into Mount Righteous since their first release, which Aaron bought from the local record store because he liked the album art work. Little did we know we would be sharing a stage with them a year later. Their new release is awesome to boot! So come out and support us and them and the marriage of two fun party bands.

Moru Michu as a character that I (Jason) created who is this ultra smart 4 year old. This song is kind of annoying but is so full of wonderfulness that it’s worth it.
